Well I was very curious about the Academy 1:350 USS Oliver Hazard Perry FFG-7, so I got one and I was very pleasantly surprised with the kit. DKM Bismarck Project

The ever famous battleship has hit the bench. To get things started, I have decided to build this one full hull even though I am urged to build it waterline and put it in some rough seas. I will be building the Tamiya 1/350 kit with alot of add ons. This is meant to be a long haul project, so I will be starting off by planking the decks in basswood strips, which have finally arrived (was a long wait, must have been the holidays). Jeremy, I am starting on my Tamiya Bismarck and I am very interested to talk to you about the PE and accessories you used on your Bismarck. I know I will be planking with 1 x 3 basswood planks and probably using the WEM detail set, but where did you get the brass barrels for your build?

I decided to do it full hull and just finished making a solid Oak base for it (and will use brass finals to mount it on). I have to figure how and what I want to use to mark the base with her name...

I need a little help here on my Bradley build, I know the interior color is a light green/white color, but I am not sure what the closest match would be in Model Master colors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I picked the testor's 1/48 OV-10A Bronco kit yesterday. I did a build for a guy a few years back with one of my local model club buddies. I worked on the sponsons and wheel wells while he concentrated on the cockpit and final painting. I gave him my part when it was finished and off he went. The f_*ker yanked out all my customizing and basically handed the guy a OOB Bronco. It looked like #%#@. It's been nagging me every since, so I ran across the kit yesterday for $15. Can't...

I've been plugging away atmy T-34/85. Got part of the engine assembled only to realize I need the demensions for my 1/6 scratchbuild. So I broke out the Tiger I's I've got going. They are....1/16, 1/18/, 3 1/35's, 1/48, and a 1/72 to top it off. I have all the ref's and measurements for a 1/6 build of it so I can proceed with the building. I picked up the Dragon 1/35 scale UH-1D Huey for a major project I have going. I will be doing a massive diorama type build of several models in honor of all my brothers. I thought I would share a few photos of my current project in the beginning stages of being built. The kit is Tamiya's 1/35 M2A2 Bradley ODS, which includes various accessory equipment (rucksacks, water jugs, tarps, tents, ammo crates, etc) which really adds to the kit. The kit is an excellent build for anyone interested in building a modernized Bradley. The only draw back is that it doesn't include the interior at all, but if your in the mood to scratch build, there you go. The fit...

I have a current Bradley project underway (Tamiya 1/35 M2a2 Bradley ODS) and it is a great kit which gives you the most bang for the buck with accessories and what not, but I have a future project of the Bradley (dedication to one of my brothers) in it's configuration as a Desert Storm Bradley, but I can't find enough resources for markings for the 3rd ACR during 1991 (F Troop specifically) to replicate the Bradley he served with.
